Smith Carbine

This carbine is in 50 cal.  with an exc. bore and appears unfired. Mfg from 1861-65 by American Arms Co. Chicopee Falls, Mass. with a total production of over 30K. This gun is in near mint condition. The barrel has 99% of blue. The frame has v.g. case color and the walnut stock is in fine condition with minor handling marks and on small dent which looks like a screw head was pressed against it on the left side near the cartouche. I am sure that can be steamed out if desired. I have priced it reflecting that flaw. A very good buy.
