M1861 Springfield Rifled Musket Dated 1861

58 Caliber with an average to poor bore. Barrel has a very nice brown patina overall having never been cleaned. "VP/Eagle" is clear but the barrel date is pitted out. Lock plate stampings and date are excellent. Walnut stock has a very old varnish finish which is wearing off and could be easily removed. Left stock flat has a faint cartouche. A very nice untouched and uncleaned musket.
