M1861 Contract Musket by Manton

Product Information
Metal parts have a matching patina of light gray with no rust and very minor pitting. Barrel and lock markings are sharp and clear with NY stamped on barrel. Walnut stock is in very good condition with a sharp cartouche on the flat. Butt tang stamped "18" and "NY" at the left cheek bottom. Under 2,000 total qty mfg. with 1,074 sold to New York in 1863.
