M1841 Harpers Ferry Mississippi Sabre Bayonet

54 Caliber with a very good bore with heavy rifling. Lock dated 1851 barrel tang dated 1852. Barrel is smooth with no rust with a light salt and peppered finish. Barrel and lock markings are sharp and clear. Long range sight is complete. Walnut stock is in good condition with normal handling marks. Patch box has a spare nipple still inside. All brass has a nice mustard patina having never been cleaned. A nice untouched example. Sabre Bayonet has a nice blade with some minor pitting toward the tip and appears to have been lightly cleaned at some time. The brass handle has a nice patina and fits well with the gun.
