M1822 Whitney Contract musket

Product Information
This musket is dated 1828 and has P&EW Blake on the locke plate. First contract in which 15k were made. They were 69 Cal smoothe bore. This musket is in orig. flynt. The metal has some pitting and has be cleaned at some point. The markings are good.  The walnut is in good condition with a crack on the rear as shown in the pics It looks more like a drying crack than a break. Tlhe mechanics are sound and tight. Fairly  priced at  2800.00.
