A very neat small pair of opera glasses made from ivory. The pics show the drying cracks which is very typical of items made from ivory when aged 100 plus years. The glasses are circa 1840. Optics are very good. The leather case is 100% orig. and in great condition. The glasses stand 3" high and 4" wide in the closed position. A very nice display piece.

A set of twinn telescopes mfg. by Gardner & Co.  Glascow. between 1838 - 1883. I believe these to around 1870. The optics are excellant. The case is 100% They stand  7"high by 4 1/2" wide in a closed postiion, and 11 1/2" high open. Great for a long range shooting display.
