This sling was mfg. by E. Gaylord & Co., Chicoppee Mass. and inspected by TJ Sheppard US sub inspector, on both the belt and sling buckle. Short configuration. Block measures 1 3/4" high x 7 3/4" long x 1 1/2 wide. Outside dimensions of box: front flap 9 1/2" ~ back 8". Leather has moderate crazing all stitching appears to be good and tight. Box is complete with closure strap, belt loops and sling buckles. $995.00 - L209

This box is for the P53 rifle musket. Complete with its orig. tins and complete stitching. The leather is a little dry and could use some treatment but I will leave that to the buyer. The cartridge box issued for the P53 Enfield Rifle Musket. This box was made by A. Ross & Co. This box is 100% orig. with no broken stitching. The white buff tab is complete as are the roller buckles and belt loops. The mfg. stamp is clear located between the buff tab and the outer flap. Tins on the inside are complete and orig. Ross & Co did supply the CSA and this could be one of those boxes. We don't come by these very often so don't miss this one. Near mint condition.

A complete buff leather calvary rig produced by th CROSSMAN CO. NEWARK N.J. This was mfg under a 1864 contract for 5000 sets. Complete wtih the over the shoulder belt with its original shipping twine still in place. The buckle and keeper numbers match and have 100% of the orig gilt. This holster was MFG. by E.Gaylord & Co. The leather surface has some crazing but mostly it is dry and in need of a leather treatment. I show them the way I buy them but will treat it for you.
