Non Regulation Staff & Field Officers Sword by Horstmann

Mfg. by W.H. Horstmann & Sons, Phila., PA. Blade mfg. by Clauberg.  Overall condition of the blade is 98% of original frosting and polish! Steel hilt is in excellent condition with a very nice brown patina. Shagreen grip and copper wire wrap are in excellent condition. Retains the original Red Moroccan Leather ricasso washer.  Steel Scabbard is dent free and has the same patina as the sword. It would be extremely hard to improve on this example.
