M1860 Ames Cavalry Sabre Dated 1864

Blade is in excellent condition with its original bright polish and no nicks or rust. Blade is inspected and dated 1864. All markings are sharp and clear. Leather ricasso washer is 100% and in tact.  Leather grip and grip wire are in excellent condition and tight. Brass guard has never been polished and has a beautiful mustard patina. Pommel cap has "ADK" inspection. Scabbard is rust free and in fine condition with one small dent near the drag. Drag has "J.F." inspection.  A very fine example.
