Zouave Pattern 1845 French Cartridge Box
Cartridge Box has its original tins and percussion cap pouch.  Pouch flap is missing its closure button.  Each side of the tins has a leather tie strap that is sewn to the box front. Overall box is in Mint condition. A rare box.

Short configuration. Block measures 1 3/4" high x 7 3/4" long x 1 1/2 wide. Outside dimensions of box: front flap 9 1/2" ~ back 8".  Leather has moderate crazing all stitching appears to be good and tight. Box is complete with closure strap, belt loops and sling buckles.
