1/6 Plate Ambro clear image with crease through center of image. Adams is holding what appears to be either an 1816 or 1842 Musket. Top of Kepi shows Maryland Cross. Adams is also wearing an Eagle Breast Plate and US Buckle.

Tintype Elisha Weakley
16th IN Infantry & 13th IN Cavalry
1/4 Plate Tintype is very clear and detailed with Gold.  Nicely housed in a "Composition" frame. Frame is patented dated Aug. 7, 1855.
Elisha Weakley born 11/28/1838 ~ Shelbyville, IN.
Elisha Weakley enlisted with Co. A. 16th Regiment Indiana Infantry on Aug. 31, 1861. He was mustered out of the one year service unit on May 23, 1862.
Weakley reenlisted on December 23, 1863 with Captain Muth's Co. 13th Indiana Cavalry. Appointed 4th Sergt. on March 20, 1864 ~ Promoted to Sergt. Major June 13th, 1864 ~ Commissioned 1st. Lieut. Co. I Feb. 6, 1865 ~ Commissioned Captain Co. E Oct. 1, 1865.  Mustered out November 18, 1865.
After the war he married Harriet Wood and had 2 sons.  Elisha Weakley died April 14, 1922.

Robert Huston Milroy ~ "GRAY EAGLE"
w/ Signature Clip

Born: 06/11/1816 in Salem, IN
Died: 03/29/1890 in Olympia, WA
Mexican War ~served as commander of Co.C, 1st IN Vol.Infantry. At the outbreak of the Civil War Milroy organized the 9th Indiana Volunteer Infantry Regiment and was appointed the colonel in charge. Milroy was promoted to brigadier general in Sept. 1861 and major general in Nov. 1862. During the Gettysburg campaign, Milroy was named commander of the Union garrison at Winchester, Va. Confederate troops under Lt. Gen. Richard S. Ewell entered the area and captured the fort in a battle on June 13–14, 1863. Milroy escaped with some of his troops, but he lost more than 3,000 prisoners and 23 pieces of artillery, and casualties were heavy. Milroy was relieved of his command and arrested. He was exonerated some months later by a court of inquiry, but he was never given another field command.*
